Welcome to the Capitals Hockey 2010-2011 Season!!
The JV/Varsity registrations will be July 20th - August 27th, 2010. Please do not register online until July 20th
Girls, Bantams, PeeWees, Squirts, Mites, MiniMites and Learn to Skate registration will be online August 30th - September 30th, 2010.
Registration Information:
1. To Register your skater for the 2010-2011 hockey season click on "Registration" on the left side of this page. Please read all information regarding registration carefully. If you have questions regarding registration please contact Amy McTighe at amymctighe@ymail.com.
2. The Oahe Hockey Association will once again be requiring players at the Squirt level and above to participate in fundraising. Each family of a Squirt level player or above will purchase $60.00 in raffle tickets (Further information for the raffle will be forwarded on to families at a later time by Fundraising Director Pam Metzinger) as part of their registration fee. NOTE: Only one $60.00 fee per family NOT per player. Families can then sell the raffle tickets within the community earning their $60.00 fundraising fee back. Although Learn to Skate, Mini-Mites, and Mites are not required to purchase raffle tickets....families/skaters of these groups are more than welcome to purchase and sell raffle tickets to support the organization. Families/skaters can purchase more raffle tickets if needed from Pam Metzinger.
3. Skaters may also register (during the registration process) for the Robby Glantz Hockey Camp to be held October 10th - 14th. This camp cost is in addition to all other fees required to participate in OHA Hockey. The camp cost is $125.00 per skater. This camp is highly recommended for Mite skaters and older. Robby Glantz and his team were here last year and the skaters really enjoyed working with Robby personally. Robby and his team do an excellent job. We feel very fortunate to be able to provide such a high quality hockey camp in our local area. Look for a camp schedule on the website in September.
4. SENIOR SHOWCASE
Brookings will be hosting this event again this year. The dates are November 19th & 20th. Format - Skills Competition on Friday night, Awards/Recognition Breakfast on Saturday monring and scrimmage games on Saturday afternoon.
