The Godfrey Roberts Hockey Memorial was established in 2011 to give kids the chance to try the game of hockey when they may otherwise be unable to for financial reasons.

Contributions to the Memorial are held as an advised fund within the South Dakota Community Foundation, which invests the monies and returns earned interest to the Memorial.

The kids and families of the Oahe Hockey Association are beneficiaries of the Godfrey Roberts Hockey Memorial.  More information about how the OHA uses Memorial funds to provide financial assistance to kids and families to play hockey is available on our Financial Assistance page.
