Hosting a Tournament - Oahe Hockey Association

When hosting a hockey tournament, we need to get it registered with USA Hockey and of course pay a fee. This all needs to get to the State Registrar 30 days before the tournament so plan accordingly. The following are the steps you need to take:

Fill out the Tournament Application (click to download)
Get a check from the Treasurer (Angel Wedin) made payable to USA Hockey (cost of hosting a tournament is $25. If you are having both a B and C tournament, or a Mite and Mini Mite tourney, the fee is $50).
Submit a copy of the rules and procedures of the tournament. Make sure that there is a comment in the rules that all teams must be registered with USA Hockey and that each team must provide a roster book along with birth certificates AND that the roster books will be checked before any team is allowed to play. Make sure and assign someone to check in all the roster books at the start of your tournament.
